While Burning

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across most of the surface. This helps prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and avoid moving or touching the candle while the wax is liquid—the vessel may become hot.
Do not burn your candle for longer than the recommended time on its care label. As a general guide, extinguish it after three to four hours. If the flame becomes unusually high, flickers continuously or produces smoke, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool and trim the wick before relighting.
For multi-wick candles, always light all the wicks together to ensure an even melt.
